Why No Tips at Great Blue Heron?

We believe that every person who works should be paid a full fair wage by their employer. In a mixed retail and service venue like our Lawrence shop, tipping creates inequitable compensation results for our employees. We value the contributions of all of our team and compensate them accordingly.

For our customers who wish to contribute to our community, we do accept (but do not expect) donations that are directed to clean water conservation projects.
